YCIT lies in famous wetland in East China, Yancheng ,Jiangsu Province, an open city on the coast of the Yellow Sea。 Founded in 1958, YCIT is a full-time university under Jiangsu Provincial Government.
It has an enrollment of 18,000 full-time undergraduates and over 1,300 faculty and staff members. It consists of 3 campuses and covers 154 hectares. It has establishes 15 schools and offers 39 degree programs. It has formed a comprehensive education structure with various disciplines such as engineering, economics, management, art, sciences, and agriculture with engineering as its focus.
