Notes:
- Deadline for Visiting Scholars’ application is August 25, 2011.
- Deadline for Transferred students’ application is August 20, 2011.
- Applicants should be above 18 years old
- The applicants who will have classes with Chinese students should have the HSK Certificate Band 5 or above
- The applicants who will have classes with sophomores majored in Trade and Commerce should have the HSK Certificate Band 3 or above
- Deadline for the application of Master degree program and Doctorial degree program is May 30 every year.
Documents for Application and Registration
2011 HSK Scholarship of Tianjin University of Finance and Economics (TUFE)
With HSK Certificate Band 6 or above, the undergraduates (including Transferred students) could apply for HSK Scholarship, when the student is granted admission by TUFE. The HSK Scholarship grants RMB 800 yuan each person once. The HSK Certificate is valid for two years.
Student should apply for HSK Scholarship within ten days from September 5, 2011
Application Procedures for 2011 CUCAS University Scholarship
CUCAS University Scholarship is a scholarship program run by top Chinese universities and CUCAS (China’s University and College Admission System) to provide full or partial tuition remission for outstanding international students. CUCAS provides the funds for this scholarship while the university assesses the scholarship applications.

- Amount: 1,000 US dollars
The CUCAS University Scholarship is only valid for the first time when applicants pay for the tuition fee. If the tuition fee is more than 1000 US dollars, applicants should pay for the rest part. If the tuition fee is less than 1000 US dollars, the rest part cannot be withdrawn.

- Applicants must meet the enrollment requirements of the university.
- Applicants must observe Chinese laws and regulations.
- Applicants must be friendly to Chinese people and respect Chinese multiplicity of cultures and customs.

Our university will assess all the application documents and the winners list will be published on both our official website and CUCAS Scholarships section.
Application Documents
These application documents should be submitted.
- CUCAS Scholarship Application Form filled in Chinese or English. (Please refer to the attachment).
- Letter of acceptance.
- Highest diploma (notarized photocopy).
University students or applicants employed shall also provide proof of studying or employment on application.
Non English or Chinese language documentation requires a certified English or Chinese language translation.
- Academic transcripts (notarized photocopy).
Transcripts in languages other than Chinese or English must be attached with notarized translations in Chinese or English.
- A study or research plan.
All applicants are required to submit a study or research plan. It must be in Chinese or in English.
- Letters of recommendation
Applicants must provide one letter of recommendation at least and the letters should be from professors or assistant professors, written in Chinese or English.
Applicants for postgraduate studies, or study in China as senior scholars must submit two letters of recommendation.
- Photocopies of personal artwork
Applicants for music studies are requested to submit a CD of the applicants’ own works. Applicants for fine arts programs must submit a CD of the applicants’ own works (including two sketches, two color paintings and two other works).
- A copy of Physical Examination Record for foreigners (please refer to the attachment).
Foreigners, who intend to work or study in China for over 6 months, should go through a physical check-up before they come to China, according to the requirements of Physical Examination Record for Foreigners.
The medical examinations must cover all the items listed in the Foreigner Physical Examination Form. Incomplete records or those without the signature of the attending physician, the official stamp of the hospital or a sealed photograph of the applicants are invalid. Please select the appropriate time to take medical examination due to the 6-months validity of the medical results.
Terms & Conditions
Scholarship applicants who have received other scholarships cannot apply for CUCAS University Scholarship.
