Founded in 1983, Shenzhen University is a young energetic university, the only comprehensive university in Shenzhen. Shenzhen has a population of 12 millions and is one of the most dynamic economic cities in China. It has been rated as an international garden-like city by the UN, and Shenzhen University has its reputation as “garden in the garden”.

There are 23 colleges in Shenzhen University, which offers 54 undergraduate programs, 66 postgraduate programs and 3 doctoral programs，with 19437 registered undergraduate students, 1651 postgraduate students, and over 1500 international students last year.
