Nanjing University of Technology, a comprehensive university with engineering as its focus, has a history of more than one hundred years. Nanjing University of Technology was established by merging Nanjing University of Chemical Technology and Nanjing Institute of Architectural and Civil Engineering in May 2001, and it is now a key comprehensive university administered directly by Jiangsu Province.
