Anhui University began to enroll international students in 1980. It was authorized by the Ministry of Education of the PRC to accept Scholarship students in 2000 and it was appointed to be the 'Oversea Chinese Language Educational Base' by the Oversea Affairs Office under the State Council in the same year.

    School of International Education of Anhui University was established in 2005. It was derived from the International Cultural Exchange Center of AHU, which was founded in 2000. Our school is responsible for enrollment, registration, teaching arrangements, entry and exit affairs of international students. Nowadays, AHU accepts hundreds of students coming from over 20 countries all over the world.

    School of International Education is in the Main Campus, downtown area of Hefei city, enjoying convenient transportation and exquisite surroundings.
