Length of school:

A school year is divided into two semesters; the first semester starts on September 1st and concludes around the end of January. The 2nd semester begins in February and ends in late June. The summer vacation spans from July to August, and winter vacation is three weeks around the Spring Festival. Other holidays include: two days for Christmas, one day for New Year’s Day, the holiday period for Labor Day and the National Day is subject to notification from the Gansu Municipal Government.School hours are: 7:45am~5:40pm. Lunch period is 12:00~2:30.
