Bachelor’s Degree Specialties taught in English
There are three specialties available taught in English, which are Aeronautical Engineering (Flight Vehicle Design and Engineering; Flight Vehicle Maufacturing and Engineering), Chemical and Environmental Engineering (Applied Chemistry: Environmental Engineering) and Business Administration. The length of study for each specialty lasts for four years. Our university promises that it can start a new engineering specialty taught in English for the applicants if the number of the applicants reaches the scale of around 20. Here are the specialties:

Aeronautical Engineering (BE): This program aims at educating students to possess good foundation of mathematics and basic engineering theory, to have the ability of conducting the designing, manufacturing, maintenance and repairing aircraft and engine, to be qualified to work as the advanced technicians in the future in the field of aeronautical and mechanical engineering industries. The main courses in this program consists of higher mathematics, engineering mechanics, fluid mechanics, engineering thermodynamics, mechanical principles and design, design of aircraft, aeroengine, design of aircraft controlling system, the basic and application of finite mega, aeronautical manufacturing technology.

Chemical and Environmental Engineering (B.E): Nanchang Hangkong University offers a four-year program of study leading to a Bachelor in Engineering in chemical and environmental engineering. This program provides students with a foundation in water, air, solid wastes and physical pollution control engineering, as well as water supply and sewerage engineering, environmental planning and environmental monitoring. It prepares its graduates as environmental professionals to work with numerous government agencies, planning agencies, economy and management agencies, environment protection agencies, as well as with private field consulting companies and industry. Graduates will be able to perform chemical and environmental field planning and designing, develop chemical and environmental programs, and maintain environmental health and safety control and compliance.

Business Administration (BBA): Business Administration Program comes under the Business Administration Department of College of Economics and Management. Relying on the two disciplines of "Management" and "economics", we foster and provide the senior practical management talents for the national defense agencies, local enterprises, financial organizations who will effectively contribute to production and operation, human resources and financial management. The College of Economics and Management possesses a center laboratory with usable area of 1033 M2, including ERP Lab, E-commerce and Logistics Lab, Financial Lab, Simulation Lab for Enterprise business decision, Accounting simulation Lab, and Experimental innovation Room, which provide an open platform for the practicing teaching of our related courses. For the effective implementation of talent training mode of combination of the theoretical and practical teaching, we provide following core courses: Management, Economics, Management Information Systems, Statistics, Accounting, Financial Management, Marketing, Economic Law, Human Resource Management, Enterprises Strategic Management. In fostering process we highlight the training of research innovation and professional skills, emphasizing the training of practical capacity.

Qualification

1. Applicants must observe the Chinese laws and the regulations and rules of Nanchang Hangkong Uninversity and have the equivalent of a high school education.and are expected to study hard in the university.
2. Applicants should have good scores and have good performances in high school.
3. Applicants should be under twenty-five years old in general and.be in good health.
4. Applicants should be able to take courses in Chinese (passing HSK level 6) if the candidate applies for non-English specialty programs or applicants should have good command of English and be able to take courses instructed in English

Application Procedures and Required Documents
Applicants should prepare the following written documents and submit to the International Students Office:

1. Application form for foreign students
2. Physical Examination Record for Foreigners with a seal of a hospital
3. The diploma or certificate and the transcript of academic records in high school
4. The passport identification page and four passport-sized photos
5. Candidates for Master degrees will need two letters of recommendation from persons of associate professors status or higher
6. Application fee: 500.00RMB/100.00USD

2. Considering the express charges, the applicant can send these documents by email first.When registration, these materials should be given or shown to the International Students Office of the university. 3. The applicants are required to provide proof of their solvency by their agent in China or other financial warranty.

Application Deadlines
For bachelor’s degree program students: Autumn Enrollment prior to August 15th

Admission and Registration

1. The Admission Notice and JW202 Form will be mailed to the qualified applicants before August 15th directly or through the agency.
2. A visa can be obtained from the Chinese Embassy or consulate in the applicant’s country with the Admission Notice and JW202 Form
3. Applicants should complete all necessary procedures and register at the university on time as instructed by the Admission Notice
4. Registration time is before Mid-September. The detailed date will be specified in the Admission Notice. Those who can not come on time must notify the International Student Office ahead of time.
