On 25th March 2013, Director of China Operations from National University, USA, visited HUT. In the attendance of meeting were Professor Dengke Xu, Dean of International Department, Professor Yuan Su, Vice Dean of International Department.

Two universities agreed to apply two joint undergraduate program in Industrial Design and Digital Media ( Manufacturing Design Engineering and Digital Media Design respectively in National University) in September, 2013. In the meeting, HUT reached a preliminary cooperation intention with National University in exchange students, teachers and students�� visits, teachers training and so on.

Since 1971, National University has been dedicated to making lifelong learning opportunities accessible, challenging, and relevant to a diverse student population. It is the second-largest, private, non-profit institution of higher learning in California. National University has five schools and one college, including: School of Business and Management, School of Education, School of Engineering, Technology and Media, School of Health and Human Services, School of Professional Studies, College of Letters and Sciences.
