On the afternoon of Dec. 18, the 2011East China University of Science and Technology(ECUST) national Day Party was successfully held in Minsheng Art Museum by ECUST Professional Master's Programs Center and ECUST MBA Students' Association. The party gained great support from ECUST School of Business. Associate Professor Gao Song, deputy director of the MBA Programs Office, delivered the opening speech for the party. The representatives from MBA associations of our partner universities, including Shanghai Jiaotong University, Tongji University, China Europe International Business School, Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, East China Normal University, University of Shanghai for Science and Technology and Lanzhou University, attended the party. Meanwhile, the teachers and students from Pudong Lianying Primary School and Tibetan Linzhi High School, who have been receiving donations from ECUST MBA teachers and students for years, were also invited for the joyful gathering.

The passionate African Mandingue Djembe opened the prelude to the party. Next, the versatile MBA students gave wonderful performances, such as sketches, singing and dancing, Chinese zither playing, calligraphy, taijiquan, original music playing, etc. The students from Pudong Lianying Primary School also presented amazing dances.

Associate Prof. Gao Song, Mr. Yao Yihong, Ms. Tang Qi and other teachers presented awards and beautiful souvenirs to the alumni who made remarkable contributions to the AMBA accreditation of the ECUST MBA Program as well as the outstanding students in the "Red Apple" business leadership plan. The representatives from the tourism bureaus of Switzerland, Ireland, Japan and other countries were also invited to the party to display their distinctive tourism cultures.

Before the end of the party, the lucky draw became the climax of the evening. The lucky winners obtained prizes offered by the Professional Master's Programs Center, such as Swatch matches, Casio cameras, Ipad 2, etc.

In the beautiful Christmas song performed by students of ECUST-ESCEM Joint MBA Program, the 2011 ECUST International Day Party came to a successful conclusion.

After the party, the headmaster of Tibetan Linzhi High School said that the party was an unforgettable experience to him. Mr. Liu Xiangdong, executive chairman of the 10th ECUST MBA Students' Association, expressed the resolution on behalf of all the association members that they would continue to serve the MBA students of ECUST and the whole society.
