September 30, 2011, the "Chinese Cultural Night" event was co-organized by the Munich Friendship Association, the Mutual Aid Association, the Church Societies, and Confucius Classroom Munich at the Munich City Library.

The event was divided into two parts. The first part was about China's geography and the local culture. At the beginning, the folk music "the Liuyang River", played by the traditional Chinese musical instrument Guzheng, brought the audience to Hunan Province in China. Then, Ms. Neumann, the hostess from the Mutual Aid Association introduced the Chinese longest river --- the Yangtze River and the customs of this area. Next, Ms. Min Zhou, the dance teacher from Confucius classroom Munich, presented the Dai dance --- "Bambusa Multiplex under the Moonlight", which took the audience to Yunan province in China. The audience watched it with great pleasure. The hostess also gave a brief introduction on the Dai instrument --- the Flute. Ms. Neumann then presented the two famous poems in German --- "Invitation to Wine" and "A Song of Changgan" by LI Bai , the Tang Dynasty poet. After that, Mr. Wei Kang, the teacher from Confucius classroom Munich, recited the two poems with a passion in Chinese. The audience listened to it with rapt attention. Finally, the first part of the event ended in the performance of traditional Chinese folk music, "Jasmine".

Then, the second part of the event started. The organizing committee invited three professional Chinese chefs specifically for the event. They cooked Chinese food on the site for the audience. The dishes presented to the German friends that night were Assorted Chicken, Hot and Sour soup and Caramelized Bananas. The audience feasted their eyes and palate, and also marveled at the Chinese people's unique cuisine and cooking techniques.

During the event, the audience watched the Chinese folk dance, appreciated the Chinese poetry, tasted Chinese cuisine, and learnt some Chinese culture. At the end of the event, the audience expressed the hope that Confucius Classroom Munich should hold more such activities, so that they can gather together to experience more Chinese culture , which also could enhance the exchange of Chinese fans.
