The first Chinese International Sculpture Exhibition will be held on September 28th in Datong of Shanxi Province.

Visitors who pass by Datong during the upcoming National Holiday can stop by to enjoy the visual feast.

Three hundred and thirty excellent sculpture works created by contemporary artists from home and abroad will be exhibited. The collection presents the highest artistic level in terms of material, concept and style.

Together with Yungang Cave and Huayan Temple in Datong, both outstanding examples of ancient Chinese sculpture, the exhibition will allow visitors to view both modern and classic works.

The event will last to the end of the Chinese Spring Festival in 2012.
