Mid-autumn Festival, also known as moon festival in China, will kick off on September 12 this year. In celebration of Mid-Autumn Festival, Chinese people will enjoy three days off, lasting from September 10th to 12th.

It's named moon festival because the moon is at its fullest and brightest on Mid-Autumn Festival. On the moon day, people who are far away from home will try to flock home for family reunion, eating mooncakes and various fruits and appreciating the glorious full moon with family members.

Besides, to celebrate the moon day, a number of Chinese people would like to travel to some picturesque resorts to admire the bright moon, such as Mt. E'mei, Mt. Lu, West Lake Scenic Area of Hangzhou , Elephant Trunk Hill of Guilin and Yellow Moutain.
