Fourteen Mexican universities and the University of Tokyo have agreed to bolster cooperation in science and technology, an official said Thursday.
The consensus was reached at the first Japan-Mexico Summit of Principals, during which the two sides also explored more networking opportunities, said Enrique Villa Rivera, director of Mexico's National Council on Science and Technology (CONACYT). According to him, a total of 4,400 Mexican and Japanese students have already studied in each other's countries on the subjects such as quality control, industrial design, information technology and health.
