UW-La Crosse holds a big welcome celebration for the more than 150 new international students who'll be attending the school.

The meet and greet ice cream social happened on the U-W-L campus Tuesday afternoon.

This week, the international students are registering for classes and working with mentors to get acquainted with La Crosse.

More than 400 international students from 44 different countries attend UW-L.
