China is often considered a top location for studies abroad. It is vast and hugely populated, with over 20% of the world's people calling this lively country home.

Whether you are interested in studying the rich traditions steeped in Chinese culture, the archaeological sites of the very beginning of human time, or the complex languages of China, this country is sure to provide students with countless opportunities for learning and enrichning their academic skills.

With an abundance of renowned colleges and universities, China's educational system has produced some of the world's most brilliant minds in almost every discipline. World leaders in business, mathematics, astronomy, martial arts, philosophy and more have studied in China, making the country a popular location to study.

The first and provably the best quality of education in China is that it meets the strict standards set by Chinese Ministry of Education. The Ministry also sets standards on accommodation for foreign students where it guarantees certain safety. Apart from this, all the institutions in China welcome international students as an integral part of their educational system.

"Good academic institutes with high infrastructure and latest technology is the reason Chinese Universities are attracting a huge number of students from every region of world," said Milan Gyawali, managing director of Speed International Consultancy, Pultalisadak.

Likewise, he mentioned that these days there are a lot of Nepali students' joining the Chinese education system. This interest although huge has not started recently; it is backed by a history of many years. "A number of students who have graduated from China are serving our country in the fields of medicine, engineering, management and other programs as well," claimed Gyawali.

China is growing rapidly, in the field of education with high infrastructure, teaching methodology and the latest technology to compete in the international market. Chinese Institutes and foreign institutes regularly have exchange co-operation programs for mutual benefit.

Also, the affordable cost of education in the country is making more and more international students choose China as their education destination. "Tuition fees in many subjects including Medicine and Engineering is much cheaper in comparison to Western or European countries," said Gyawali and added "The living expense is also comparatively cheaper."

Usually, the government of China does not give legal provisions of part time jobs for students. However, students can opt for jobs during vacations independently in limited areas as per government rules. Also, learning Chinese language can prove a huge beneficiary to the students for their chances of getting jobs is higher.

Since China has been providing quality education in affordable price and the country is quite near ours, studying in China might be a good option for Nepali students seeking to pursue education abroad.
