ISLAMABAD, June 27 (APP) - The Ambassador of Pakistan to China, Masood Khan has said that Chinese is the language of future and it is encouraging to see an increased number of Pakistani youth learning this language. He was talking to a group of 38 students from various Pakistani schools, colleges and universities during their visit to the Pakistan Embassy in Beijing, according to a news release issued here on Sunday. Their month-long visit to China has been organized by the Confucius Center Islamabad in collaboration with Beijing Language and Culture University, China. The leader of the delegation Rashida Mustafa thanked the Embassy for inviting them and highlighted historic relationship between Pakistan and China.

A few students also spoke on the occasion highlighting that the relationship between the two countries is unique and is growing from strength-to-strength with the passage of time.

Ambassador Masood said that China is leading the way forward in world trade and finance, hence "it is vital for our youth to learn this language so as to grab maximum opportunities." 

He said that steps are being taken for increasing the people-to-people and cultural contacts between the two countries.

Terming the youth as "Ambassadors of Pakistan-China Friendship" Masood Khan said that such exchanges comprising young generation from both sides is helping in further cementing the already strong bonds of friendship.

He told the youth to make maximum use of this opportunity and observe the culture and the marvelous development of China in all spheres of life that it has achieved within a short period of time.
