The University of Hawaii at Manoa will host a Chinese-language sports camp for 30 middle- and high-school students. 
The fourth annual camp will begin on July 5 and end on July 23. Applications are now being accepted.
The program will offer students a chance to learn basic communication skills in Chinese, and lessons about contemporary China and its culture. Students also will practice table tennis and martial arts daily, under the tutelage of championship level instructors from the Peoples Republic of China. Alumni will be invited to travel to China in the future. The camp is supported by the STARTALK program, which is financed by the U.S. government, and the UH Confucius Institute. Total:1 Page: 1
