Northeast Agricultural University(NEAU), founded in Harbin in 1948,originally named Northeast Agricultural College,which was merged with Heilongjiang Institute of Agricultural Cadres Management in 1994 is now a key university directly under Heilongjiang provinceone of universities of Project 211 and is honored as the outstanding university of undergraduate teaching evaluation by the ministry of education.

With strong displine basis and greater integrated strength, NEAU has its advantage in agriculture and is characterized by life science and food science. NEAU comprises 19 colleges and 1 Teaching Department covering the displines of Agronomy, Engineering, Science, Economics and Management.
