1Short-tem Program
Nankai’s short-term programs are usually cooperative programs, lasting from 1 to 6 months. Since 1980, Nankai University has signed long-term cooperation and exchange agreements with more than 20 sister universities or institutes in the United States, Japan, Canada, Korea, Germany, Finland, and Australia. Every year Nankai organizes short-term Chinese Language training courses (4-24 weeks in the summer or winter) for their students. To satisfy the requests of these schools and their students, many subjects are introduced to the short-term programs. In addition to Chinese Language, Chinese society, politics, economy, calligraphy, traditional Chinese painting, Peking opera, and folk music has also been added to the course content. Course credits earned at Nankai can be transferred back to affiliated schools.
Due to China’s recent economic growth, success in its WTO bid and its increasing number of foreign investments, a variety of related topics such as the Chinese economy, international trade and international commercial management have been introduced to the short-term programs. In addition, with the cooperation of the Tianjin Economic and Technological Development Zone, Nankai University also offers short-term training programs for employees of small to medium-size businesses from the EU and Taiwan. Subjects offered include: Chinese economic reform and policy, investment policy, economic and trade regulations, industrial and commercial management. These short-term programs have been very successful in assisting these enterprises begin or grow their operations in China. Short-term programs have been popular and are available year-round.

1.Nankai University Application Form filled in Chinese or English. It can be downloaded from http://user.nankai.edu.cn/WSW/Pub/default.aspx.
2.    Highest diploma (notarized photocopy). Documents in languages other than Chinese or English must have notarized translations in Chinese or English attached.
3.    Applicants are required to provide relevant notarized transcripts. Transcripts in languages other than Chinese or English must have notarized translations in Chinese or English attached.
4. HSK test result or certificate of Chinese Language level
5. One photocopy of valid passport
6. 2 passport size recent photos
