Scholarships and Awards

We provide scholarships for freshmen every year, which should be applied by students themselves and verified by our school. Excellent overseas students will be selected every year for the title of honor and wards. Our school will also provide them some temporary work including language teaching to help them finish their studies.

Accommodation

Dormitories for overseas students are all suites with a living room and a rest room, equipped with fridge, water heater, air conditioner, furniture etc. Floor public kitchen, laundry and accommodation fee is RMB600 per month (not including water and electricity fees) for single rooms, RMB300 per month(not including water and electricity fees) for double rooms, RMB100 per day for single rooms, RMB50 per day for double rooms, RMB20 per day and RMB200 per month(not including water and electricity fees) for student dormitory.

Application Procedures for School Admission

1. Apply application for admission to the Foreign Affair Office of our school and mail the following materials:
   (1) A copy of the final education qualification and certificate.
   (2) A copy of the transcript.
   (3) Students who apply for the college degree should provide a copy of HSK certificate.
   An application for admission in written form and the application materials above are required for the overseas students. After they mailed them to our school, we’ll send an “Application Form for Admission of Oversea Student” and a “Physical Examination Record for Foreigner” to proper candidates. (“Physical Examination Record for Foreigner” is not required for students who study less than 6 months).
   
2. Fill in the related forms, then mail the original copy of application form and the duplicated copy of the “Physical Examination Record for Foreigner” to our school, the original one should be bring here to apply for residence permit.
   
3. Eligible candidates approved will receive a letter of admission and a “ Visa Application Form for Overseas Students”(“JW202 form” in short).  Applicants can apply for your visa at Chinese Embassy with this form, admission letter and your personal passport.
   
4. Students who have got your visa from Chinese Embassy should inform us your flight and train number to Jiaozuo Teachers College in advance. We’ll send someone to pick you up at the airport or train station for free.
   
5. We accept applications all year round, the starting date of the first semester every year is September 1st, the second semester will be started at the end of February.
   
6. We accept students who require short-term study on Chinese language or Chinese culture at any time.
