Students We are Looking for and Entry Requirements

1.Three-year Academic Certificate: aged 18 to 35 years old, with a Senior High School diploma or higher diploma. You will get an Academic School Certificate by Jixi University, if all the courses are finished and passed.
2. Long/Short-time Training Program: Aged between 18 and 60, a Junior School, Senior High School Certificate or higher diploma. Jixi University will offer the certificate when all courses are finished and passed.

    Note: Students will learn relative majors in Jixi University after 1- year Chinese study and pass 6-level exam of HSK(Chinese level).

Developing Aim & Course Programs for Chinese Language and Literature

  1. Developing Aim
    This major is a practical one for international students, to develop the talents
    needed in Chinese translation and communication with China. After finishing academic majors and getting an Academic School Certificate, students will be proficient in Chinese, learn the basic situations of China and have the practical abilities to work on relative Chinese affairs .
    For a 3-year duration of at least 20 classes per week, if the duration of study is complete and marks are qualified, students will obtain an Academic Certificate of Language and Literature.
  2. Course Programs
    (1) Obligatory Courses: Junior Chinese, Junior Speaking, Junior Listening, Intermediate Chinese, Intermediate Speaking, Intermediate Listening, Advanced Chinese(I), Advanced Chinese(II), Advanced Speaking, General Survey of China;
    (2) Optional Courses: English, sports training, translation, Economy & Business Chinese, Chinese Writing, Chinese Practice, Modern Chinese, Modern Literature, Chinese Computer Information-Dealing, Chinese Handwriting.

How to apply

  1. Contact the International Education Exchange and Administration Department, paying the fee of 300 yuan (RMB) and scanning & sending the following materials through email (jxdxwsb@163.com).
    (1) Diploma copies;
    (2) Passport cover pag Copies;
    (3) Copies of your ˇ°Certificate of Physical Examination for Foreignersˇ±.
  2. ˇ°Visa Application Form (Table JW202)ˇ± will be handled and posted to you when your qualifications match the entry requirements. ˇ°The Entry Clearance Certificate for Chinaˇ± will be handled by Jixi University.
  3. Time of enrolling: Any time
  4. If you are accepted by Jixi University, notify us of your arrival time and place ahead of time, someone will meet you at the train station or airport.

Tuition and Fees

  1. Tuition: 12,000(RMB)per person, per year(to study for 1 year or more than 1 year);
    1,200 yuan(RMB)per person, per month(to study for less than 1 year) .
