CZU International Cooperation and Exchange
CZU attaches great importance to international exchange and cooperation, and obtains the projects of “national-level innovative talent training experimental plot” and “provincial-level innovative talent training base”. The university takes an active part in setting up cooperative international programs with other countries. To date, Changzhou University has six joint educational programs approved by the Chinese Ministry of Education. They are dual-bachelor programs on Computer Science and Technology, Business Management, Information Management and System and Chemical Engineering with St. Francis Xavier University in Canada, and dual-bachelor programs on Pharmaceutical Engineering and Electronic Engineering with National University of Ireland, Maynooth. Since 2005, these six joint educational programs have cultivated more than 100 graduates, many of whom further read master or doctor degrees at world famous universities. Besides, Changzhou University has signed cooperative research and exchange agreements with over 20 institutions in 10 countries including the United States, Britain, Canada, Japan, Russia, Germany, Australia and Finland. It carries out productive cooperation in the field of teacher exchange, student exchange, research projects and joint teaching, etc., which gives a pushing effect on the improvement of teaching quality, academic construction and scientific research. In addition, Changzhou University recruits more than 100 long-term and short-term overseas students annually. The university provides not only Chinese language courses but also courses on Chinese Culture, trades and management. Changzhou University will persist in its endeavor in internationalized education strategy according to 2011-2015 Plan, to build up reputation and accelerate development.
