Established in the year 1993, Beijing Huijia Private School is a K-12 all-boarding private school. In the year 2004, it won the honorable title as “One of the Advanced Private Schools” awarded by Beijing Municipal Government. In the year 2005, it was approved to be “One of the National Scientific Education Experimental Bases” by the Central Educational Science Institute of the Ministry of Education. Until now, it has become one of the famous private schools in China.
The number of the students:
- The school has a total of 75 teaching classes.
- The school has more than 2000 students, including more than 200 foreign students from the countries such as South Korea, the USA, Canada, Russia, Kazakhstan, Japan, the Philippines, Indonesia, Singapore, Mongolia, Spain, Finland, the Netherlands, New Zealand, etc.

| 1.The Intensive Chinese Language Training Program:
Invite applications from: The student who has never studied Chinese language before or whose Chinese language foundation is rather weak.
Period: Half a year or 1 year.
Classes: The elementary class, the intermediate class and the advanced class.
Courses: Chinese language, Chinese characters, oral expression, reading and HSK.
In addition, there are activities in the aspects of Chinese culture, arts, sports, etc.
After the program begins, in light of the students’ Chinese language levels, they are divided into various classes; the student whose score is excellent may directly transfer into the Chinese students’ class. The student who has attained HSK Level 3 or above, after going through the school assessment, may transfer into another class.
Examinations: Every term, the school arranges the mid-term examinations and the end-of-term examinations; every month, there is a monthly examinations; every 2 weeks, there is an HSK simulated examinations and a 100-word competition.
2.The Transfer Preparatory Program
The student who has attained HSK Level 3 or above and passed the examinations of various subjects may apply to the school to have transfer study.
The student whose Chinese language foundation is rather weak must, first of all, have the short-term Chinese language training; the student who has given excellent everyday performance, whose scores have reached the above standard, and who has been assessed and approved by the school, may directly transfer into the appropriate Chinese students’ class; the student may transfer to study in the primary school division, the junior high school division or the IB senior high school division.
3.The Preparatory Program for the University Entrance Examinations:
The student who has attained HSK Level 5 or above and wants to apply to the university in China may study in the Preparatory Program for the University Entrance Examinations, which arranges its curriculum according to the students’ characteristics and in line with the examinations requirements of the universities including Beijing University, Tsinghua University, Renmin University, etc, and helps the students to efficiently master important points.

Summer/Winter Camp
According to the students’ winter/summer vacation schedules in various countries and regions, our school holds the Chinese Language and Culture Training Camp in March, June, July, August and October every year.

Calligraphy and painting: Calligraphy, traditional Chinese painting.
Crafts: Knitting, paper-cut, pottery.
Arts: Dance, piano, music, folk music.
Sports: Basketball, taijiquan, table tennis, golf, badminton, bowling-ball, swimming.
In addition, there are rich and colorful trips to see the sights including the Temple of Heaven, the ImperialPalace, the Tian An Men Square, the Great Wall, the Thirteen Tombs, the Round and BrightGarden, the SummerPalace, the Wang Fu Jing Street, go shopping at the mall, etc.

The foreign students have the appropriate teachers who know their native language to guide them with Chinese language. The school gives adequate consideration to the studying characteristics of every student, uses the individualized educational models of combining the teaching in small class and the individualized guidance, and rapidly raises the academic and Chinese language levels at the same time. | The School Facilities and Living Conditions |

Lodging: The Chinese and foreign students live together. The primary school students’ dormitory buildings practice the unique “Warm Family” lodging system; the students live in the units; every unit has 8-10 bedrooms; every bedroom has 3-4 resident students. The high school students live in the apartments; there are 4 students living in every room. Every unit or room has wash room, shower room and toilet; indoor, there are air-conditioner, 201-card telephone, wardrobe, etc. The senior high school students’ apartments have good, independent space and studying conditions. Both the high school and the primary school have life teachers to take care of the students’ life management and life skill training.
Board: The primary and high school students have the cafeteria; the senior high school students take care of their own meals. The school has Chinese restaurant, Western restaurant and South Korea restaurant; the various foods provide the students with balanced nutrition. The students may choose to eat in any of the restaurants; the school provides the extra meal service. What is worth mentioning, the vegetables are the non-pollution green vegetables especially provided by the Huijia Students’ Farm.
Other facilities: The school has the clinic, the shop, the barber’s shop, the indoor and outdoor basketball courts, the indoor and outdoor swimming-pools, the stadium, the badminton court, the tennis court, the table-tennis room, the golf course, the bowling-ball club, the gym, the library, the computer laboratory, etc.

1.The applicant may, first of all, submit the application at the school website; then, come to the admission office of our school, fill in the Application Form for Foreign Student, and pay the application fee of RMB830Yuan and the fee of RMB1245Yuan for the Visa Application Form for the Foreign Student to Come to China (JW202 Form).
2.The applicant must have a guardian in Beijing.
3.The applicant should submit the following documents:
- Fill in the Beijing Huijia Private School Application Form.
- The transcripts and certificate offered by the former school.
- 10 recent color photos (without hat, 2-cun)
- The Xerox copy of the first page and visa page of the applicant’s passport.
- The Xerox copy of the passports of the parents of the applicant respectively.
- The Xerox copy of the most recent diploma of the applicant.
- The original copy of the foreign hospital’s check-up certificate, which qualifies the applicant to apply the related credentials from the Chinese Government.
- The Xerox copy of the life insurance purchased in the native country for the applicant to study abroad.
- Two (2) original notary copies of “The Guardian’s Responsibility Guarantee Letter” obtained in Beijing. (The guardian is required to fill in the document personally at the school.)
- One (1) original notary copy of “The Guardianship Authorization from the Parents” obtained in China. “The Guardianship Authorization from the Parents” obtained in the applicant’s native country should have the notary copy in Chinese provided by the local notary office and the authenticated copy provided by the Chinese Embassy.
The original copy of the employment certificate of the guardian and the Xerox copy of his ID card (or passport).

2、Other fees and regulations
- School uniforms: The parents should order the school uniform separately.
- If the student wants to take part in the trip out of campus or the activity of the extracurricular interest group, he should apply and pay the fee separately.
- The fee for staying at the school during the holidays/vacation: If the student wants to stay at the school during the weekend/holidays/vacation, he should apply in advance and pay the fee of RMB150Yuan/day or RMB12000Yuan/academic year.
- A contingency reserve of 5000Yuan must be paid to prepare for the student’s sudden disease and other emergencies; when the student leaves the school, if the reserve has not been used or used up, the balance shall be paid back to the student.
- The application fee: 830Yuan.
- If the student wants to obtain the study visa (JW202 Form), he must pay the application fee of 1245Yuan.
- The insurance fee: 200Yuan/year.
- The campus consumption card: 200Yuan/time (including 15Yuan for the cost of production).
- The student shall pay the residence permission fee separately.

If the student quits the school halfway through a program, the tuition shall be deducted according to the number of terms for which the student has studied at the school, less than one term shall be calculated as one term (one academic year shall be calculated as two terms); the lodging and board shall be deducted according to the actual number of months for which the student has studied at the school, less than one month shall be calculated as one month (one term shall be calculated as five months). |
