On June 20, 2012, invited by the Consulate General in Munich, Dr. Sylke Wischnevsky, the principal of Guting Otto - von - Tabbe Middle School in Bavaria, led her 13 students to visit.

First, Consul General WANG Shunqing gave a warm welcome speech. He encouraged the students to study Chinese hard and become a cultural ambassador of the Sino - German exchange in the future. Then, Consul DAI Jijiang played the two short documentaries "Main Land China" and "Chinese Calligraphy" for the visiting teachers and students. They were deeply attracted by the amazing Chinese calligraphy.

After that, Dr. Krämer, the Chinese teacher from Guting Otto - von - Tabbe Middle School, introduced the current situation of Chinese language teaching and learning in her school. Under the great support of the Principal Sylke Wischnevsky, Chinese is set as the third optional foreign language course in her school. Now there are 15 students learning Chinese with her. Dr. Krämer repeatedly expressed her thanks for the strong support of the principal.

After the speech, the 13 visiting students expressed their own thoughts of learning Chinese. Some said: "Learning Chinese is difficult, but very interesting." Some said, "It is easy to recognize Chinese characters, and very interesting, but to write Chinese characters is too difficult." Some took "le" as an example to show the complexity and difficulty of Chinese grammar. The students spoke their minds freely, and finally said a Chinese sentence one by one.

Then, the highlight of the day - - the Chinese Experience Class started. By the invitation of the Consulate General, the local Chinese language teacher ZHANG Ying, from Confucius Classroom Munich, gave a lively Chinese lesson to the visiting students and teachers. She taught the ancient poem Praise Goose. First, she took out pictures and encouraged the students to describe the contents of it in German, and then she taught the students how to express it in Chinese. Later, she distributed the handouts with pin, Chinese characters and pictures on it. The students read loud by themselves, and then she corrected the tones.

When the students mastered this poem, Teacher Zhang led the students to dance with the music Praise Goose . The dance is choreographed by herself. Consul General WANG Shunqing, Principal Sylke Wischnevsky and Dr. Krämer could not help dancing together with the students. They participated in it, and enjoyed it. The atmosphere of the class was very active. At the moment, there was no distinction between teachers and students, no difference between host and guests, and no national boundaries. There was only a harmonious atmosphere and friendship. It is Chinese that it has built the bridge of friendship!

After that, the students experienced the sound wall - charts. They took the voice pen to click on their favorite Chinese characters of animals, foods, colors and digitals, then imitated the sound with the electronic pen. Everyone on - site was surprised by the high - tech "stuff".

The content of the conversazione was very rich. The Consulate General provided Chinese dim sum - - spring rolls and sesame rice balls for the visiting guests. The students listened to the speech of Consul General Wang, watched the interesting short documentaries, experienced the vivid Chinese class, and tasted the unique Chinese cuisine, so they felt reluctant to leave.
