On April 10, the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of State of Council came to JiangXi University of Science and Technology to select instructors for the Chinese Culture Camp to be held in Ottawa this summer. 13 teachers from Ganzhou city took part in this selection process. These teachers presented their course design, teaching plans with humor language.

The leadership of JiangXi University of Science and Technology met with the judges of OCAO before the teaching competition. They also exchanged insights on promoting the Chinese language and culture among younger generations of overseas Chinese.

The Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council of China is the administrative office responsible for liaising with overseas Chinese residing abroad or returning to China. Its forerunner, the Committee of Overseas Chinese Affairs, was established in 1949.
