March 28, 2012, the theme on "Made in China - dialogue about the Middle Kingdom " of International Interdisciplinary Scientific Conference held at University of Silesia in Katowice, Poland; which is following as the contractor of Youth Economic Forum on the theme "Made in China economic potential of Asia vs. EU." of the Third European Economic Congress in May 2011, the University of Silesia once again successfully organized international conference on Chinese topic.

Mr. Sun Yuxi, Chinese ambassador to Poland, invited to participate in the conference and made a wonderful speech on the prospects for the development of economic cooperation between China and Poland, as well as China and Central and Eastern Europe.

Opole Confucius Institute also invited to participate in the conference and introduced the purpose, content and progress of the Opole Confucius Institute's Post-Master Education Project on China-Europe cross-cultural management.

The Rector and faculty of the University of Silesia warmly welcomed to the participants of the Ambassador Sun Yuxi and Opole Confucius Institute, discussed with the students of University of Silesia in the conference.

The Polish participants were fervently concerned about the Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao's forthcoming visit to Poland; they expressed the belief that the Premier Wen Jiabao's visit will certainly intensify the Poland-China bilateral relationship of economic and cultural exchanges with positive and profound influence. They considered that Poland occupies an important position in Central and Eastern Europe, Polish potential cooperation is far from play in Central and Eastern Europe as a role of bridge for Chinese capital into the hinterland of Europe; and this process has already begun with the President of Poland, Komorowski's visit to China in December 2011. The Polish government announced a plan"Go China"in March 2012, intended to increase bilateral trade volume, to help Polish companies to invest in China, but also to attract Chinese investment in Poland. Currently there is a good prospect for economic development in Poland. During the world financial crisis in 2009, Poland achieved economic growth of 1.7%, meanwhile the economic growth rate of other EU states were negative. The cooperation between China and Poland continue to expand and deepen economic and trade provides a powerful force of bilateral cultural communications. Opole Confucius Institute will take this opportunity to make its own efforts and contribution for the cultural exchange between China and Poland.
