Ⅰ. Introduction of Chifeng University
Approved by the China Ministry of Education in 2003, Chifeng University was founded as a public, full time and comprehensive undergraduate university by the combination of the Chifeng Normal College of Nationalities and other four academies. It is located in Chifeng City, the birthplace of the world-famous Hong Shan Cultures. The city boasts profound cultures with time honored history, distinctive scenic spots and rich literal human resources, which is the famous tourism city of China.
The university has strong faculty with 937 full-time teachers, including 119 professors and 477 associate professors. Among them, 502 teachers have doctor or master degrees. There are 9511 full time undergraduate students and academic students and 6721 correspondence students in adult education.
The university has established a comprehensive discipline system with 24 colleges or departments such as the College of Mongolia Literature and History, Liberal Arts, Foreign Language Studies, Music, Fine Arts, Political Science and Law, History and Culture, Economics and Management, Education Science, Physical Education, Mathematics and Statistics, Natural Resource and Environment al science, Physics and Electronic Information Engineering, Life Science, Construction and Mechanical Engineering, Primary Education, Medicine, Adult Education, Distance Education, Continuing Education and Teachers Training Education and School of Marxism and Foreign Languages Teaching for College Students. Its specialties covers 9 disciplines including literature, history, laws, education, science, engineering, medicine, management and liberal arts. It can offer 42 undergraduate programs and 60 majors for advanced vocational and academic education. Some programs can be conducted in Mongolia and Chinese Medium. Meanwhile it has offered the master degree in graduate education for the major of Heritage and museum professional. Furthermore, the university has three affiliated units, namely, a subordinate high school and two affiliated hospitals.
The university is energetically intensifying its international exchange and cooperation and has established good academic exchange and inter-university cooperation with relevant schools in the US, UK, France, Canada, Korea, Mongolia and so on. In 2011, Chifeng University has introduced high-quality teaching resources from Honam University in South Korea, enrolling 192 freshmen under cooperated education projects and achieved new progress in Sino-foreign cooperative education. At present, students from Mongolia, Korea, Ghana, etc. are studying at Chifeng University.

Ⅳ. Student types and Form
Student types :
Who ever in the world is willing to study Chinese may enroll himself /herself in our university, provided that he /she is within the age of 16---45.
Application Time: Any time.
Entry Time
For a short term class (The time limit is 1-6 months).You may join a class any time you like.
For a long term class (Above 6 months).Mar 1 and Sep 1 of every year.
Time limit
For a junior college student it is three years.
For an undergraduate student is four years.
Ⅴ. Apply Procedures
1、Appliers can directly ask for the Foreign Students Application Form of Chifeng University and send back the filled material to the University and following attached:
(1). Notes of Foreigner’s Body Examination (Offer the duplication and self photo needed on the form),
(2). The original and translated text of non-criminal by the country you lived,
(3). School report card of the highest academic (duplication)(4). Self-resume
(5). The highest academic certification (duplication)(6). Passport duplication (7). 2 photos recently (the same norms as passport)
2、. After hearing of the application and checked in, the college of International Exchange will send the Enrollment of Chifeng University and the visa application form to China (JW202) to you before 15th July in the year.
3、The people who were enrolled bring the Enrollment and Form of JW202 to the Chinese Embassy where you live to deal with the visa for China.
4、Tell us your arrival time we will meet you at the airport..
5、After that, you can come to the college of International Exchange on time.

Remarks: The students should pay for the tuition and fees for accommodation in the first week when the new term begins. The fees will not be returned if the students discontinue, expel from school or transfer to another school after collecting the fees.
Fees for Accommodation
1. For a single room with one bed, 5600RMB\peson\year.
2. For a single room with two beds, 2800RMB\person\year.
Registration fee: RMB400 per student
For textbooks, you need to pay for them according to their respective price.
